After the success of the 2024 edition, Cammini Aperti returns in 2025 with a focus on the Jubilee and Franciscan centenaries in 2026, involving the regions of Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Marche, Tuscany and Umbria.
The featured paths are:
- Ways and Paths of Francis: pass through villages, places of worship and landscapes linked to the Saint’s life, including Assisi, La Verna, Rome and the Holy Valley of Rieti.
- Vie e Cammini Lauretani: historic Marian itinerary between Loreto, Assisi and Rome, with events located on the Marche – Umbria – Tuscany route towards Siena and the Via Francigena.
- Way of St. Benedict: from Norcia to Montecassino, passing through abbeys and valleys symbolic of Benedictine monasticism.
